SO MUCH to share!
The biggest news really is that I’ve just leased a brand new (to me) studio space and get the keys this Friday!
So you’ll find your next class or workshop at 1/3 Progress Court, Harlaxton.
It’s just 3 minutes down the road from my home studio (right next to Mother Megs Biscuit Factory – I took that as a good omen!), opposite Downlands, and is nice, big, airconditioned and clean.
I’ll be Shiny Happy-ing the space up before you get there so you are wrapped up in creativity as soon as you walk in the door. I’ll share some pics as soon as we’re in.
This decision has been forced on me by Nexus and Toowoomba’s Second Range Crossing. Just a couple of weeks ago we were informed that, from January, we would have up to 12 months of roadworks directly in front of the studio, as well as driveway access only (restricting parking in front of the studio, even on our land). It’s not good, it certainly isn’t fair, and my expenses are increasing significantly… but Shiny Happy is not only my business, it is my nature… and so I’m trying to see the bright side…
The bright side for you is that I will be offering more Paint Alongs and more Workshops!

Two full days of creativity, inspiration and guidance resulting in (at least) two large, original canvases bursting with colour and flowers. (Very similar to the workshop I just ran at USQ.)

Thank you so much for all your encouragement and support for my little business. I truly love being able to help so many people find joy in art and ‘get out of their own heads’ for a bit while they’re in my studio. It’s a fabulous form of meditation I think!
