Just a couple of weeks ago I was asked (by my friend Jo Capp) if I’d like to create a Daffodil themed Paint Along to help launch Daffodil Day here in Toowoomba. How could I say no? It was a Paint Along subject I hadn’t covered yet and I knew I could create a design that would work in a three hour session.
So I designed “Field of Hope”.
We painted this shiny happy floral in my studio on Tuesday 12 August and I was absolutely delighted with how everyone went.
We even had one of our local Councillors, Geoff McDonald, show up…
and we got in the paper!
