If you are keen to join the current cohort, here are a few A’s to the Q’s I’ve been asked in recent days:
Q. ARE THESE PAINTINGS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
A. YEP! If you’re keen to learn to draw and paint with acrylic and watercolour, you’re in the right place. What I love about teaching on video is that you can see every brush stroke I make and replay it if you want to! That means I can teach more complex subjects and it’s always just a case of following along, step by step.
So you can join as a complete beginner, with confidence.
Q. HOW MUCH DO THE COURSE SUPPLIES COST?
A. I demonstrate with 4 art supplies – paints, brushes, canvas paper and a tear-off palette. I sell this kit for around $130 (that’s about $90 USD) and it’s all you need for all the acrylic paintings we do inside the Club. These are not hard items to find online if you’re not in Australia.
You can use any watercolour set you like, and I encourage you to get to know your own supplies.
Q. CAN I DO THESE PAINTINGS AT MY OWN PACE?
A. Sure can! Once you’re a member you have access to 24 of my most recent Online Paint Alongs. Just choose your favourites and paint them at home at whatever schedule you like. Just remember it’s a rolling collection, so the oldest paintings will roll out of your Library as new ones roll in… but you’ll be given a discount if you decide you’d like to keep a retiring painting forever.
Q. BUT WHAT IF I DON’T LOVE IT?
A. I’d never want you to be unhappy with my classes. If you’re still a bit unsure if the Club is for you, I encourage you to sign up on the $25 Monthly Plan. You can easily cancel (or upgrade to Annual Membership) in the Club website at any time.
Q. DO WE GET DRAWING TEMPLATES?
A. Sure do! You’ll receive a printable reference document for each online class. These line drawings can be easily printed or traced onto your surface if you’re unsure of your drawing skills.
Q. WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT A PAINTING?
A. You can email me directly, or I would encourage you to ask in our Private Club Facebook Group so that other Members can learn too. It’s a great chance to connect with other Club Members and it’s a dedicated space to record our Facebook Lives.
Q. IF I DON’T JOIN NOW, WHEN WILL THE CLUB BE OPEN AGAIN?
A. Maybe in October or November? But (of course) I recommend that you join now. Because even if you just start drawing the subjects and demonstrations along with me each month, and save the paintings til Christmas holidays, you’ll still be further along that if you waited. There will never be a perfect time!

Q. IS THIS MEMBERSHIP TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
A. If you are a teacher or art teacher it certainly may be! I can send you a tax invoice. Please ask your accountant to see if this applies to you.
